1993 Heavy Metal: War Machine Cover by Simon Bisley
Heavy Metal magazine (Amazon.com search*) was always one of those books I never quite understood when I was a kid. The art was odd, the stories weirder still, and everything about the magazine left me scratching my head in confusion.
It took a few decades, but these days I can appreciate the art and stories of Heavy Metal and was very surprised to run across this War Machine issue at archive.org. Gorgeous artwork, both the cover and inside the magazine.
