Serpent King Games and the Dragon Warriors RPG

I rarely discuss games here at battlegrip.com — the site exists as a source of relaxation and games are a bit too close to work to ever truly be relaxing — but this announcement from the newly-formed Serpent King Games (website, Twitter) deserves a mention.

Dragon Warriors, the classic 1980s dark-fantasy RPG recently re-released by Magnum Opus Press, is moving to new British publishing company Serpent King Games.

This is excellent news for fans of the game, and I am most certainly a fan because it is well-written, beautifully-illustrated, and generally an incredible work of gaming art. I’ve got almost a complete run of the books released by the previous publisher Dragon Warriors search on Amazon.com* and I recommend this line to anyone who is a fan of eighties-styled fantasy roleplaying games.
