Barnes & Noble Flagship Store in NYC

Yesterday after the meeting with Barnes & Noble we walked over to their nearby flagship store where they’ve constructed a toys and games display that should make almost any of you excited. It’s amazing to see B&N getting deeper and deeper into the toys and games segment, and if we’re lucky this venture will prove successful and they’ll bring in even more cool stuff.

Check the pics for an idea of what the Barnes & Noble stores are starting to carry. And look at those new display cases!

  1. I say without exaggeration that it had literally been YEARS since I had last set foot in a B&N store, so it was with some amazement when I ventured out in search of some Funko POP! Vinyl SDCC exclusive goodness that I discovered they had a toy section. I guess whats more than that, I was very surprised that their POP! prices were actually lower than anyplace else I have seen. I need to play catchup with the TMNT POP! and I’ll definitely be heading back to purchase them at Barnes & Noble… now I just need to get hold of one of my friend’s membership cards and get that 10% discount!

    1. @PrfktTear – I truly believe B&N is in a unique position to become a large toy/game store chain. They’re certainly expanding that section rapidly these days, and after what I saw in the corporate offices a few days ago I think they know this and are working toward it.
