Funko Pop! Vinyl on Clearance at 7-Eleven
Well this makes me a little sad. When I first noticed that the Pop! Vinyl series (Amazon.com search*) was in 7-Eleven stores I was happy to see Funko branching out (first posted here). More markets means more potential sales. Which means growth. Which means more potential toys.
All this is a good thing.
I suppose we can look on things in a favorable light when we see just how few of the toys are actually marked down. This implies that either the 7-Eleven stores sold a lot of toys before Christmas, or that the clearance is working and the toys are vanishing quickly. I hope it’s the “sold great for Christmas!,” because that would mean Funko has another chance at getting into 7-Eleven for the 2014 holiday season. And that would mean more people exposed to the company’s work.
