Joe Haldeman’s “The Forever War” Limited Edition

The Forever War (see Wikipedia), by Joe Haldeman, is one of those sci-fi classics I’ve always meant to read and have never quite gotten around to. I only last year picked up a copy of the book, but to this day I haven’t done more than put it in a stack where it waits to be enjoyed.

Well, it’s at this exact moment I’m a little happy that I still haven’t read The Forever War. With the announcement of a limited edition coming from Centipede Press I’m sure I’d be agonizing over whether or not to order this if I was a fan of the book. But as it is I get to point out that the book’s limited to 150 slipcased copies and is very likely as beautiful as the other Centipede Press books in my collection.

This new edition features full color paintings by Jim Burns and a new foreword by Ridley Scott. A few page spreads are pictured below. Each copy is signed by Joe Haldeman, Jim Burns, and Ridley Scott. It is limited to 150 slipcased copies for sale. A deluxe edition will also be available.
