Section 9

Running across the rocky, dangerous terrain as quickly as your legs will carry you, you continue toward the castle and extend your particle blasters. Your hands twist and spin, opening and unlocking to reveal three blasters at the end of each arm. It’s time for a fight, and you know that everything you’re doing is a danger. But Glyaxia Command needs to know what Grimwave is up to and you’re willing to sacrifice yourself to give Command the intel that it needs.

The signals close within visual range and you identify them immediately. Armodocs! And not just any Armodocs. No, these are Grimwave’s Shock Squad, a group of four reconstructed Armodocs that have been amplified and enhanced and work together to execute their evil commander’s every instruction.

You fire, aiming one arm at each of two different ‘docs and inwardly cheering as your initial attack strikes a weak point on one of your targets and punches through the gleaming panel in the center of the robotic monster’s head. The second ‘doc you attacked shrugs off the blasts and as you roll behind cover the three still standing machines level their cannons and open fire.

If you remain behind cover and take random shots at the Shock Squad proceed to section 3.
If you try to move to a group of rocks closer to the Armodocs proceed to section 38.
