“‘Star Wars’ Toys Rocket Into Holiday Sales Orbit”

Let’s ignore the Battlestar Galactica photo that accompanies the piece and instead focus on the fact that here’s a newspaper article about a Star Wars toothbrush and bop bag toy. That’s how much Star Wars affected Christmas in the late seventies; sales were so high that a newspaper felt the need to mention these two unusual items . . . as well as a handful of other non-Star Wars toys.
