10% Off Transforming Robots at Alpha Sector in 1984

October 18, 1984. This ad block was found in an issue of the Austin American Statesman and shows off what’s clearly Robotech as a transforming robot toy. Or, just maybe, this ad block is actually promoting the Twentieth Century Imports model kits that were used as the basis for the BattleDroids game . . . which was changed to BattleTech and the kits sold as shown here. Regardless of the specifics, the ad itself is a fun discovery.
