Another peek inside one of Blackthorne Publishing’s BattleTech comic book gives us this full-page advertisement for Fasa’s BattleTech boardgame (find at Amazon.com*). We’ve seen other ads for the BattleTech game from 1987 before, but this one stands out as important because someone elected to use artwork that is less awesome than a lot of the art in the game and supplements. Why, Fasa of the eighties? Why?!?!?
