1943 Coca-Cola Advertisement from Life Magazine
This 1943 Life Magazine issue includes one of those friendly, all-American Coca-Cola ads that is what the company has built their image on. A soldier going home, rationing of supplies, and soldiers enjoying Coca-Cola after training all come together to make this as patriotic as it is commercial.
And the artwork? That’s fantastic. There’s not enough money spent on original artwork for advertising these days.

@Chris – Fair enough. I know it’s a legitimate distinction, it’s just not one my brain absorbs.
