1978 Kiddie City Ad for Star Wars Action Figures
The June 11, 1978 Toledo Blade newspaper included this ad for Kenner’s Star Wars action figures . . . and look at those prices! Who is ready to pay $10 for an X-Wing or $1.79 for any one of the very first 3.75-inch scale Star Wars action figures? I know I am!
Even better than those prices, though, has to be the line art illustrations of the figures. What is happening with Darth Vader’s head in that drawing?
