1978 Star Wars Duel at the Death Star Racing Set and Plush R2-D2 at JCPenny

December 6, 1978. I don’t really remember either of these toys all that well, but at least theswca.com has a great overview of the racing set, including some photos of the package and the line art used for some advertising. The images in the ad aren’t the best, so you’re really doing yourself a disservice if you don’t take a little time to poke at the web and learn more about this ugliriffic toy.
