1979 Micronauts Hornetroid Commerical

I was just a few years too young to get into Micronauts back in the seventies. You see, the year I turned five is the year Star Wars was released, meaning that my young brain was caught by Star Wars early and there was no room for other toylines. Or brands, because Star Wars was everything for me.

And even television couldn’t help me. Living in Turkey in the late seventies meant that I missed out on a lot of the 1979 to 1980 activity . . . including this Micronauts Hornetroid commercial. I bet that if I had seen this commercial in 1979 my Star Wars fascination would have faltered and I would have asked for this toy. That design is amazing!!!
