1980 Newspaper Ad Featuring Fisher-Price Adventure People

We’ve recently looked at two old newspaper ads for the Fisher-Price Adventure People (1981 advertisment, 1980 advertisement), and now it’s time for another look at this underappreciated action figure series.

The ad includes the Firestar 1 Space Sled toy (see this cardedheroes.com post for pics and info) as well as single figures, the cycle set, and even some of the Fisher-Price Little People toys. For more from September 14, 1980 check out the rest of the Pittsburgh Press newspaper. Are there more toy ads in this issue? I don’t know; I’ve not looked beyond this one page. This page is enough to make me smile this morning.
