1980 Newspaper Ad for the Tonka “Play People” Action Figures and Vehicles
I’ve shared a few different newspaper ads for the Tonka Play People action figures and vehicles before (here and here), so today’s look at the line shouldn’t come as a surprise. This 1980 ad offers up a handful of different sets, and in looking at this there is no way that we are not instantly reminded of the Fisher-Price Adventure People toys. How many kids mixed the two brands together when playing back in 1980?
