1980 Star Fleet Defenders Action Figure Ad
Here’s an ad I am having difficulty with. An early 1980 issue of Marvel’s Shogun Warriors comic includes this great Heroes World ad for the Star Fleet Defenders action figures . . . but I cannot find any info online about these toys! I managed to find a blogspot posting sharing the same ad, but actual information on the toys is hiding from any.
Anyone have info on this line?

I had the orange one when I was younger. With the exception of their head and arms they were all metal. But they were very cheaply made. They didn’t stand up very well and the spring loaded hands seldom worked correctly.
The metal men toys (you blogged about awhile back) were much better quality.
