When I said yesterday that Star Wars toys were better when I was a kid I wasn’t joking. The toys were easy to find, and sale prices, coupons, and cash rebates were always out there to help us get even more toy for our money. And just to prove my point I hit the Google newspaper archives and uncovered this September 24, 1981, newspaper ad for the Best stores.
