November 25, 1982. The Spokesman Review newspaper offers up Hasbro’s G.I. Joe toys (find at Amazon.com*) with the single-carded action figures priced at only $1.99/each in this Skaggs Drug Centers advertisement. Only two bucks a figure? Damn! That’s a price we can all appreciate.
