1982 G.I. Joe Action Figures: “Up to eleven to choose from!”
In this November 3, 1982, newspaper ad we get another early look at Hasbro’s G.I. Joe action figures of the eighties. I remember getting my first G.I. Joe figure — Breaker — around this same time, but it would be a few more years before I would get heavily into the G.I. Joe comic, cartoon, and toys. I think the problem in 1982 was that I was still too deep into Star Wars to let something new into my life.
