1982 G.I. Joe Newspaper Advertisement and Video Showing Cleanup

Every now and then, I run across an old advertisement in the Google newspaper archives where things need a little help. For example, this 1982 ad featuring Hasbro’s G.I. Joe had some writing across one of the ad blocks. That just wouldn’t do.

A little less than two minutes of editing later and the scribbles are completely removed from the ad, leaving us with this excellent look back at when G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero was new to store shelves. Enjoy the ad, below, and then dig into the Google newspaper archives and look around if you want even more of these old ads.
