1983 Droids RPG Advertisement

From the May/June 1983 issue of Space Gamer magazine comes this ad for the Droids roleplayinhg game by Integral Games of Texas. The game gave each player the chance to play as a robot, and this two-color ad is a perfect companion to the B&W Droids advertisement that I shared last year.

The book itself is a digest-sized B&W booklet that is not as mind-blowing as you may like to think. Since I first shared that other ad for the game in early 2016 I have managed to locate a copy of the game, and what I found was less stellar than these two ads may lead you to believe. Still, the game is an oddity and obscure snapshot of sci-fi roleplaying in the early eighties, so it is welcome and happily living with the rest of my collection of eighties RPGs.
