1984 GoBots Commercial from Tonka
After spending a little time shooting test video of Quakewave’s transformation process (video here) I have a lot more respect for the Transformers toy commercials of the eighties. Getting a smooth parts movement captured on video isn’t easy, but if you watch this GoBots commercial from the eighties it would be easy to think “hey, filming that is simple!” Trust me, it’s not as simple as it looks.
