1984 Starriors Issue #2 Cover by Bill Sienkiewicz
You may not think you know of the art of Bill Sienkiewicz, but if you were a fan of toys and comics back in the eighties then you do know his work. I posted a few years ago a little about Sienkiewicz and his artwork, but while going through comics over the weekend my copy of Starriors #2 rose to the top and I stopped to admire the amazing artwork. Sienkiewicz’s paintings are spectacular, and the fact the Marvel gave him so many opportunities in the mid-eighties to create covers like this makes me smile inside. Seriously, what kid wouldn’t want to know more about the Starriors after seeing this comic book on the rack?
