1984 Transformers Artwork by Earl Norem
We’ve seen Earl Norem’s Transformers artwork before, but in my opinion we can never get enough of Norem’s take on the Transformers from the early days of the series. This full-page image from The Great Car Rally* book is the only space scene in the title, but the design is so fabulous that I can forgive that the rest of the book is packed with Autobots and Decepticons in a race. There are just a few too many vehicle mode paintings and not enough robot paintings for this to be one of my favorite of the Big Looker storybooks. Still, this is one fabulous painting. Where are these originals today?
