1985 Mayfair DC Heroes RPG Advertisement
Mayfair’s DC Heroes roleplaying game (find at Amazon.com*) pops up in an unexpected place . . . and with completely unexpected friends! Out of Boys’ Life magazine in July of 1985 comes this ad featuring the DC Heroes roleplaying game, the obscure Sandman: Map of Halaal game, and even Grenadier Miniatures! Looks like three companies worked together to secure a pricey ad placement in the mid-eighties.
Sandman is the rare game I don’t even remember, and I own a ton of Mayfair DC products.
@Nick Ahlhelm – I had a copy of Sandman years ago. It was meant to be the first in a series of games, but the company folded after releasing the first title. And the contest inside the game died away without a winner.
