1985 Star Trek RPG Ad in Starlog #100
I’ve shared ads for FASA’s Star Trek roleplaying game of the eighties before, but none quite as colorful as this full-page ad from Starlog #100. Star Trek was never one of my passions as a kid so I missed out of the game quite a bit, but looking back at the old ads I can appreciate the work FASA sunk into the property and just how impressive the game’s existence really was at the time.

Our local thrift store has a boxed STRPG set. I thought I’d get it for a song, as they’d have no idea what it was. Nope. $40.
