1986 Advertisement for the FREE Gamma World Rules Supplement
The science fantasy roleplaying game Gamma World (find at Amazon.com*) has been through seven editions over the years, but for me it is always the 1986 third edition that I keep looking back to. The covers from that era are fabulous, the rules as wonky and odd as we could hope for from the mid-eighties, and it’s the one time it really felt like the publisher was “all in” with the game. TSR produced several B>Gamma World supplements for third edition, but the one that constantly catches my eye has to be the free supplement that was advertised in Dragon magazine in November of 1986. Free? What’s the catch?
