That old 1986 Menards ad I found keeps on giving! So far we’ve already seen GoBots and Transformers as well as G.I. Joe and Masters of the Universe, and now it’s time for something a tad more obscure.

You may remember the Ertl Pow-R-Trons toys — after all, I did review one last weekend — but even if you don’t it’s tough to not smile when you see this old ad for the transforming robot toys. I don’t think these ever went anywhere at all, but at least these old advertisements are hiding out there waiting to be discovered and enjoyed.
