1986 Radio Shack Ad Includes “Shackwave” Toy
Last month I shared a 1985 Radio Shack advertisement that included the Galactic Man Space Robot, their take on Hasbro’s Shockwave. Popularly known as “Shackwave,” the toy used the same design as the 1985 Shockwave in a different color and is today a loved and in-demand toy. Hey, it’s a Shockwave variant and we all love those.
And now “Shackwave” is back! This November 27, 1986, Radio Shack newspaper ad shares the toy with us and offers me hope that there may be a Radio Shack commercial that features the toy. Does anyone know if the Galactic Man Space Robot was ever shown in a Radio Shack commercial in the eighties?
