1988 BattleTech Manual: The Rules of Warfare

The 1988 BattleTech Manual* was one of my first BattleTech books after spending over a year with the various boxed games of the time. This book was a compilation of rules from the different BattleTech games, but I cannot remember ever using the book during actual play. I guess even thirty years ago I preferred shorter, more compact rulesets. Still, running across this ad in an issue of Dragon definitely sparked memories of the day I bought this book and spent the bus ride home going over all of the artwork in the book.
