1989 G.I. Joe Mudfighter and H.I.S.S. II Commercial
I’d never before stopped and thought about how long Hasbro kept Sgt. Slaughter as an official G.I. Joe spokesman during the eighties. But here we have a 1989 commercial for the Mudfighter (see yojoe.com) — now that’s one weird vehicle — and the H.I.S.S. II (see yojoe.com).
That H.I.S.S. II is a pretty cool update of the classic Cobra H.I.S.S. tank. My favorite part has to be the action figure storage compartment in the back; there’s just something about vehicles that can carry a lot of action figures that makes me smile.
