1989 West End Games Star Wars Product Checklist
This 1989 ad for West End Games’ Star Wars roleplaying game (find at Amazon.com*) is similar in style to a different ad for the game that I shared in 2015, but it is every bit as fantastic and fun. Actually, this particular ad may be the better of the two simply because I’ve always loved that Empire Strikes Back painting. Fantasy Flight Games’ current Star Wars RPG products definitely feature amazing artwork, but I cannot deny that the team at West End Games got a lot of mileage out of the Lucasfilm art archives back when they were producing the original Star Wars roleplaying game.
