1990 Transformers Action Masters Commercial
None of my Transformers books really do a fantastic job of showing off the 1990 Action Masters series. The Transformers: Identification and Price Guide* offers the best set of photos of the toys, but what I’d really love to see is someone take a stab at a book dedicated solely to the Action Masters and show us pics of the packaging and booklets.
Why? Because I’m weird and must admit that the Action Masters look to me to be far cooler than I thought they were when they were released back in 1990. Need proof that these are actually quite fun? Check out how much fun the toys are in this classic commercial (and watch through because there is an animated segment but it comes later and not at the start of the commercial).

Out of all the things ive lost from when I was younger, I really do miss my Action Masters.
I think it was a really underated toy line, great figures and awesome accessories.
If it was based of any other IP, or even a new one, I think it would have done a lot better.
