1994 BattleTech Mad Cat Kit Contest

Out of the same issue of Mecha Press where we found the Horizon Terminator 2 model kit advertisement (posted here) comes this contest to win a Mad Cat ‘mech kit. I kinda remember seeing ads for this kit back in the mid-nineties, but it is the sort of thing I would have looked at back then and then put out of my mind. I wasn’t a kit builder and wouldn’t have had the cash for something of this size, so it would have been more of a “that’s neat” item than something I would have chased after. Still, neat contest, and now I want to see some pictures of the completed kit.
