1996 BattleTech CCG Ad: “Tap this.”

I’ve mentioned Wizards of the Coast’s BattleTech trading card game before (Counterstrike booster, “First Game Guide”, Mechwarrior booster), and today I want to go all of the way back to late 1996 when the game was just reaching shelves.

I recently pulled all my BattleTech trading card game set down and went through the rules and cards. Still looks fun, and next I have to take time to build a few decks and then sit down and play again. I’m betting this game is as fun today as it was twenty years ago. Someone needs to bring this back to shelves!
