Giant robots are awesome, but for some unknown reason, my gaming experience with giant robots is basically limited to BattleTech. That’s pretty sad when we stop and think about how many fantastic giant robot games have been produced over the years. I blame timing, because this 1996 ad for the Heavy Gear roleplaying game (find at Amazon.com*) hit stores at the exact time that I was without lots of free time. Gina was in school and working, I was working, and we had just settled into our first home together. Two decades ago. Wow, things have changed a lot over the years.
