1996 Star Wars CCG Flyer from Parker Brothers
Decipher’s Star Wars CCG from the nineties (find at Amazon.com*) was big business for four or five years. The game had a significant following, was played constantly, and was even published by Hasbro as two separate Parker Brothers Star Wars CCG starter games. Those mass-released introductory games had to have helped Decipher sell even more of the randomized expansions, especially since Hasbro went so far as to insert this flyer into Star Wars action figures and vehicles. How many of us were first introduced to the game through this small flyer?

I never got into this game but loved Decipher’s Star Trek CCG, especially the first edition. It was one of the few licensed collectible cards games that truly felt like you were roleplaying the story it represented: building a fleet and crew, solving missions, etc.
