1997 Armored Trooper Votoms RPG Advertisement
I’ve posted very little about the Armored Trooper Votoms series over the years (toy review here, book review here), but everything I’ve seen of the line makes me want to watch the series. I bought the DVDs a few years ago, but I’ve yet to figure out how to transfer the episodes from DVD to my iPad; if I could buy the series at the iTunes store I would just make that happen.
Anyway, one of my first encounters with Armored Trooper Votoms was about two decades ago with the Armored Trooper Votoms RPG*. A remarkable book, and running across this 1997 ad for the game has me again wanting to finally watch the series.

One of the best mecha anime ever. I watched the whole series and all the spin-offs, and the original show STILL holds up well with excellent direction and wonderful, well thought out designs.
