1997 Star Wars Special Edition Creature Packs from Kenner

In 1997, Lucasfilm unleashed the Star Wars Special Edition films on the world and made lots of money. Lots of money. And in celebration of money the team at Kenner produced three Power of the Force Creature packs* that included the Dewback, Jabba, and Ronto.

That’s where this classic commercial comes into play. Because if you’re going to make toys for the most popular action figure series of your time then you will have to advertise. That Dewback still looks great!
