1998 Star Wars Expanded Universe Action Figure Ad
This 1998 ad — scanned from an issue of Star Wars Insider magazine (Amazon.com search*) — features the “Expanded Universe” action figures of the nineties Kenner Collection. Great fun!

If I’m not mistaken (and you likely know this already, since we’re all geeks here and read the same Internet!) but I believe that red guard figure was based off the old Atha Prime concept figure. He was initially meant to be Kenner’s stand-in for Vader, back during the lull between RotJ and the prequels.
