1998 Star Wars “Gunner Stations” Toy Commercial
Hey, I don’t remember seeing this commercial before. This 1998 Star Wars: Power of the Force line (Amazon.com search*) toy commercial shows off the Gunner Station series* which never really did take off all that well. Nifty idea, but the stationary emplacements and partial TIE Fighter just didn’t have enough “wow!” to make them really succeed.

I still keep my Han and Luke gunners out on display next to my 1995 Millennium Falcon. Definitely an odd idea but having Han and Luke with their headsets and post Death Star accouterments was pretty novel at the time.
