1999 Re:Action Figures UK Judge Dredd
Funko’s current ReAction Figures series* is making a big splash with collectors and at retail, but if we go all of the way back to 1999 we can find that this isn’t the first time that “reaction figures” was used as a title . . . as this 1999 Lee’s Action Figure News and Toy Review (Amazon.com search*) article proves.
The “Why we need more 6-inch 2000 AD” post at The Fwoosh from 2013 shows us these older Re:Action Figures, and even though the post doesn’t say the nicest of words about the toys I cannot help but wonder just how they feel in hand.

I have Anderson and Dredd. They’re pretty good. Heavy feeling. Good sculpts. Good paint. Awesome is hard to stand because she’s pre-posed and her shoulder armor comes off too easy. Dredd is actually pretty great. Came with lots of cool accessories that are comic accurate.
@Matthew Miller – That sounds great. I’ll have to apply a bit more energy to tracking these down.
