Hasbro’s “Direct to Consumer” G.I. Joe line (Amazon.com search*) was one attempt a decade ago to keep the G.I. Joe toyline in the eyes of collectors and this 2006 ToyFare magazine advertisement was one of their ways of promoting the online initiative. And if this looks familiar, you may be thinking of a similar ad that we saw two years ago.
