2007 Ad for the Ralph Mcquarrie Concept Chewbacca Action Figure
Hasbro’s series of action figures based on Star Wars concept artwork (find at Amazon.com*) was a genius move. By grabbing decades-old concept artwork and crafting sculpts based on the designs Hasbro produced a complete subset of Star Wars collectible that looks as cool today as it did when this ad ran in ToyFare way back in 2007.
Bonus: This Chewbacca concept art was snagged and used again when Star Wars Rebels needed a character. Learn all about Zeb at the official starwars.com site.
