2015 Star Wars Swimwear Advertisement

I’ll be the first to admit that this isn’t the usual sort of ad that we find in a comic book. Star Wars swimwear for boys, available at Target, strikes me as an odd choice of ad to run in Marvel in 2015, but the ad is right here in front of us and really happened. That’s a lot of money to throw at such a small niche — especially considering that comics aren’t exactly aimed at young boys these days — but hopefully the manufacturer saw a return on the ad costs.
