3.75-inch Scale Batmobile at Entertainment Earth
Awesome Batmobile, but I’m not sure if this $80 1989 Batmobile* can seat 3.75-inch scale action figures or if it’s just a pretty brick for your shelf. If it can hold action figures (like the Back to the Future toy I reviewed) then this goes from cool to amazing. A great Batmobile and me without a good 3.75-inch scale Batman action figure.
“You’ve heard of the awesome Barris Batmobile seen in the Adam West Batman projects, but did you pick up the one from the Tim Burton movies yet? The awesome Batman 1989 Batmobile Elite 1:18 Scale Die Cast Replica is similar to the full-size prop used in Batman and Batman Returns, the two films starring Michael Keaton as the dark knight. This amazing reproduction has real rubber tires, shiny gold highlights, and rotating cannons that can be hidden within the car. You won’t want to miss this limited edition vehicle!”

I have the standard version released a few years back and no, it can’t hold action figures. The scale makes even DCIH figures too large, although I did have my DCIH Batman posed atop it with the canopy opened like he was exiting it (before I moved and packed it away) and that looked pretty cool.
Sweet! The ’89 Batmobile is the coolest one ever!
