3AA Membership Goes Up January 15th
Be at the Bambaland Store on January 15th with $150 and you can join the 2011 3AA Membership. I was in on both the 2009 and 2010 memberships and the 15% discount — if you order enough toys throughout the year — is well worth the $150 . . . especially when you keep in mind that you might get access to some of the very limited World War Robot* toys. I’ve got a real love/hate relationship with 3A so yet again I’m torn about whether or not I reup my membership.
I mean, delivery times are still not quite right. As an example I ordered the Ankou toys on July 12th (day of release post here) and we’re now past the five month mark without any Ankou toys at my house. And a few more weeks and we’ll hit six months since the Ankou toys were ordered. Where the official product description at Bambaland says:
Ankou Blind box
You can get one of three main Ankou or chase Ankou.
This is a pre-order, ships in september
What is even more frustrating is that I know these toys will be fantastic when they arrive. I just wish 3A could get their manufacturing and shipping processes under control. If raising prices $10 to $20/figure would cut the time in half I would happily pay the higher cost.
What was I talking about? Oh yeah, membership opens January 15th. Don’t you forget it!
