4-Inch Scale Aliens Action Figures Up for Pre-Order at BBTS
I first mentioned this new Aliens: Colonial Marines 3.75-inch scale action figure series back in February (first posted here), and now Hiya Toys has a total of four different Alien action figures listed for pre-order at Big Bad Toy Store. Each is listed at a $25 MSRP, which isn’t too bad for a single 3.75-inch scale action figure from a small company . . . especially when you consider the licensing fees involved in making this happen.
The four figures are:
- Aliens: Colonial Marines – Alien Spitter 4†Action Figure
- Aliens: Colonial Marines – Alien Boiler 4†Action Figure
- Aliens: Colonial Marines – Alien Lurker 4†Action Figure
- Aliens: Colonial Marines – Alien Soldier 4†Action Figure
It’s tough to tell at this point how these Alien action figures will be in hand, but the promotional photos look great and if these are durable pieces then they’ll look fantastic alongside G.I. Joe, Marauder, and Acid Rain series action figures.
So all we can do for now is wait for these to be released, but I will say that if the toys are high-quality then I hope Hiya Toys’ license extends to the Aliens – Colonial Marines Technical Manual*; I would love to see a vehicle or two — or even Colonial Marines action figures! — in this scale.
