9th Circle Robotics Resin Toys from Mephisto Designs

We have looked at the work of Mephisto Designs (blog, Twitter) in the past, when I posted about his blocky resin toys, but today we’re watching as he clearly takes inspiration from Ashley Wood’s playbook.

What we have here are teaser shots of an upcoming series of resin toy robots. Cropped, stylized, dark imagery that is intended to get us excited about the robots without showing any full reveals. And as usual, the trick works. Should be fun to see how these turn out in the end; if they’re as unique in terms of design as the resin toys already in the Mephisto Designs shop then this should be a fun series.
