Spotted Online – 12-Inch Scale Office Chairs and “Sexy Girl” Action Figures

ZCGirl knows how to attract attention and sell action figures in a male-dominated market. Specializing in a line of 12-inch scale “Sexy Girl” action figures, the guys at ZCGirl take their basic female body and pile on the accessories in order to create different characters . . . including Janny and her office chair.

Rosanna comes with a motorcycle, Kathy is dressed as a goth, Rebecca is a cowgirl, and Queenie is . . . well, she’s a woman dressed to excite the male collector.

This is a major change from the past, when female action figures were poor sellers and most guys had no interest in them. (And by past I’m talking about when I was a kid.) Today there are more young adults and men collecting action figures and — just like in the high-end statue market — that means female action figures are now quite popular.

I’m not sure if they’re popular enough for a company to focus solely on 12-inch scale action figures. I guess we’ll see how long ZCGirl survives.
